Thank you for your interest in my profile!
Here’s a list of frequently asked questions that may help give a better sense of my experience and what opportunities would be a good match for us to connect on!
Looking forward to hearing from you 😊
Can you tell me more about your background and experience?
You can find my full work experience on Linkedin, and my About page has even more details on my journey up until this point 😀
I have a great opportunity for a full-time role, would you be interested?
The right opportunity would include:
- UK skilled worker visa sponsorship.
- Working on the core of an impactful product
- as opposed to operations, or pure SRE roles.
- Being responsible for a large scope of work, with opportunities to collaborate with different stakeholders and teams
- This is where my skills as a staff software engineer are best utilized.
- Not working on any non-halal or non-Sharia-compliant products. This is a key requirement for a Muslim. Some examples are:
- non-Sharia Compliant investment funds or trading platforms.
- Supporting the sale of alcohol, vapes, etc.
- Remote is preferable, but open to London-based hybrid arrangements.
- Compensation of over £160k annually.
- This can be split between bonuses, equity, and salary.
I recognize that some great opportunities may not check all the boxes, but if you meet many of the above points, I’d love to learn more! Alternatively, I’d be more open to part-time arrangements, or consulting roles.
I have a great opportunity for a part-time or consulting role, would you be interested?
Please note:
- I’m only available for less than 20 hours/week.

I do enjoy meeting new people and collaborating on impactful projects! so if you have an opportunity, let’s connect!
I see you have embedded systems experience, would you be interested in an embedded systems role?
While I am comfortable digging quite deep and being close to the hardware (I have worked for 2+ years as an embedded software engineer on self-driving cars), I found that I enjoyed working on higher-level projects with a faster feedback loop, as I get to see the impact of my work faster. Fast feedback loops and being close to customers unfortunately weren’t possible in many instances when hardware was involved, but if you think your role is an exception, let me know :)
