Tools I use
An overview of some tools I use to be more efficient. Some of the links here are affiliate links.
A low-code app builder to ship internal tooling. I have been working with Retool for over 6 years now through multiple companies and multiple industries and found it to be an efficient way to build internal tools.
Document Scanning. Love the quality of the scans, and the ability to easily edit documents, make collages for printing, and the Google Drive sync, among many other features.
My browser of choice. I particularly enjoy using sidebar apps, and workspaces to manage context switching.
AI Companion for Quran recitation and memorization. I love this app! Not just as a Muslim because it helped me with my Quran memorization, but I love the polished design, the excellent execution, and how they manage feature requests and build in public. Truly inspiring!
Managing my finances. A couple of unique features I enjoy are API support, a rule engine for automating manual work, and a query tool. I paired this with a Retool app to facilitate importing bank statements from different formats.
Turning Notion content into websites. This is the tool I used to build this website, as I was looking for an easy way to turn content into an elegant website, especially since design is not my strong suite 😃
My Personal Hub I like how easy it is to write in Notion, which allows my ideas o flow, be it when taking notes, planning projects, writing content for my website. I found it quite valuable!
